Maquis Raiders are used by the UFP colonists on both the Federation and Cardassian side of the Demiliterised Zone (DMZ).

The vessels are old freighters that are no longer used by Starfleet, yet all the Maquis Raiders are fitted with type two phaser arrays as well as photon torpedoes, a very impressive armourment indeed. Known Federation citizens to pilot such craft are Kalvin Hudson as well as Micheal Eddington.
